Archiving Policy
The storage and archiving policy of the publication “Shevchenko Studies” is developed in accordance with international standards of academic communication and COPE recommendations. Archiving is carried out in order to preserve the scientific heritage, maintain the accessibility of the content and guarantee its protection from loss.
Storage principles
- All published materials are stored in the internal digital archive of the collection.
- Materials accepted for publication are stored in an unchanged form, and only authorized persons of the editorial board have access to the original files.
- The publication uses standardized storage formats for maximum compatibility and durability of materials.
- The publication provides indexing of published materials in scientific databases and open access catalogs.
External archiving systems
- The publication participates in external archiving systems for the purpose of additional protection and long-term availability of materials.
- After publication, electronic copies of articles, along with metadata, are placed in trusted archival repositories or on platforms that meet the requirements for scientific publications.
Access to archives
- The journal's archives are open to users without restrictions. All materials are available in open access mode after the moment of publication.
- The journal provides permanent URLs for each published article and assigns each article a DOI to guarantee stable access.
Changes and updates to content
- Published materials are not changed, except for corrections, retractions, or clarifications in accordance with COPE recommendations. All changes are recorded in the appropriate editorial notes and stored together with the original materials.
In the event of termination of the journal
- In the event of termination of the journal, its archives will remain accessible through external archival systems, as well as in repositories that store metadata and full texts of articles.
