STUDY OF THE HISTORIOSOPHY OF THE WORKS OF TARAS SHEVCHENKO AT THE MILITARY HIGH SCHOOL

Abstract

At various times in our history the Word of T.  Shevchenko played an important role in the formation of the national consciousness of Ukrainians, in the struggle for the defense of their country, for truth, independence and a better future for the Ukrainian people. The poet's artistic heritage is a historical source from which we draw deep knowledge about our past. Kobzar's prophecies become our present. The poet's knowledge of the history of his native land fascinates, amazes, arouses respect and the desire to imitate him in studying the history of Ukraine.

To organize integrated seminars «Poetic historiosophy of T. Shevchenko» in the course of the academic discipline "History of Ukraine and Ukrainian culture" in the military higher education institution is motivated by its content, since the significance of the creative activity of Kobzar is only mentioned in the context of the development of the culture of the Ukrainian people during the period of national revival in the first half of the 19th century.

First of all, we find out the meaning of the concept of historiosophy and the peculiarities of T. Shevchenko's poetic historiosophy through the study of the scientific investigations of Ukrainian scientists and scholars.

It is common knowledge that T. Shevchenko's deep interest in the history of Ukraine is noticeable in all periods of his work. The poet admires the history of the Cossacks, with whom he felt an organic unity. He sings of Cossack victories, victorious battles with the enemy on land and at sea, heroic figures of Cossack leaders, mourning the Zaporozhian past.

The article highlights the generalized content of cadet studies on historiography, poetic historiosophy of T. Shevchenko as a way of in-depth study of his creative activity, the past and future of the Ukrainian people, popularization of his national idea.

The word of T. Shevchenko still sprouts in our formidable present, awakens the people to fight for the defense of their native Ukraine.
